A full-to-full policy is one we recommend if you don’t wish to purchase fuel upfront but don’t mind finding a petrol station to refill before returning it. If the car isn’t returned with a full tank of fuel you will be charged to refill it at a premium price.
A pre-purchase policy is recommended if you don’t mind paying upfront for fuel and don’t want the hassle of finding a petrol station close to the drop off location. In Italy, refunds are often given for any fuel left in the tank at the end of the rental.
