We compare a number of car hire companies at Bergamo Airport, (including big names like Hertz, Budget, Avis and Europcar, alongside local firms like Locauto, Maggiore and Noleggiare) to bring you fantastic prices, all year round. A selection of cars come as part of a special offer, so you get even better value for money: these can include an additional driver, GPS, or Collision Damage Waiver with no excess.
We also believe in giving you as much information as we can upfront. Not only do we explain everything included in the price before you book, we also ask customers to leave feedback on their rental experience — so you have peace of mind that you’re hiring with a company that others trust and recommend.
In mainland Italy, most car hire companies use one of two fuel policies: the full-to-full policy, or a pre-purchase policy where you are refunded for any fuel left in the tank at the end of your rental.
A full-to-full policy is one we recommend if you don’t wish to purchase fuel upfront but don’t mind finding a petrol station to refill before returning it. If the car isn’t returned with a full tank of fuel you will charged to refill it at a premium price.
The pre-purchase policy (with the refund) is ideal if you are happy to pay for fuel upfront and don’t want the hassle of finding a petrol station just before you have to drop the car off.
