Bear in mind that while the initial cost of a full to full policy is less than a pre-purchase policy, there are situations where the latter might be cheaper in the long run. For example, if you are driving from Alicante to Malaga airport – a four hour journey – then pre-purchasing a full tank of fuel might be a better option.
